Rioned - Brand identity restyling
Modern, friendly, the forerunner in sewer cleaning equipment.
Rioned is the European market leader in the field of drain and sewer cleaning machines and inspection systems. The company has been supplying sewage cleaning equipment for over 60 years.
We started the project with looking at the original logo. See if we could find some parts in the logo that makes it reconizable. We tried to use these parts in the restyle for the new logo.
By creating moodboards we determined the right design direction.
We created a lot of concepts for the new logo which we presented to the client. Out of these concepts they picked their favorite.
After the first pick we started to optimize the logo. The client wanted it to be a bit less round. Below the result.
Consistent use of color is one of the easiest, most effective, ways to break through the marketing clutter. The primary colors are one of the strongest components of the Rioned guidelines.
Rioned’s corporate logo is the most recognizable element of the brand. We used the dot in the logo to create the spaces in and around the logo.
After the identity we started with the touchpoint. We did give the brochures and website a makeover to match with the new identity. We also created flags, machine branding, etc.
