This privacy and cookie statement explains which personal data GBO Design- Engineering B.V. and GBO Projects B.V., both trading under the name: GBO Innovation makers (hereinafter referred to as: GBO) collect and for which purposes this personal data is used. Which personal data does GBO collect for which purposes?

GBO collects personal data in order to identify you. Personal data is data which can be traced back to a person involved, in this case you as a visitor of the website and/or client. We collect and process various personal data, including your email address, username as well as IP address and location data. GBO will never ask you for special personal data such as religious beliefs, political opinions, race, health or otherwise. The purpose of this data processing is to make contact with potential clients and/or to send marketing messages. The legal bases for these processing operations are the execution of an agreement, permission given by you or a legitimate corporate interest. If you do not provide this data, you will not be able to use our services.

GBO will exclusively process the personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation. If the processing of personal data is based on explicit permission, you always have the right to revoke your permission. Revocation of your permission does not make previous processing based on permission unlawful but means that the processing has to be terminated and that your data (after any applicable retention period) must be destroyed, unless there is a different legal basis for processing your data.

The processing of personal data by GBO is necessary for carrying out its activities and in connection with a legal obligation incumbent on GBO. The processing of personal data does not exclusively take place on the basis of automated processing.

Retention period of personal data

GBO will not store the personal data for any longer than is necessary in the framework of the purpose for which it was collected. The period during which the data is stored will take place on the basis of the following criteria:

  • Administrative data (including personal data): seven years from the date of registration;
  • Other data (including any personal data): five years from the date of registration.

The receivers of the personal data

GBO will not provide the personal data to third parties other than our processors, a third country or an international organisation without your permission, unless GBO is obligated to do so on a legal basis or due to a judicial decision.

Rights of parties involved.

You have a number of rights on the basis of the General Data Protection Regulation. You have the right to request access to your personal data. Additionally, you can ask us to improve, supplement, delete or shield your personal data. Furthermore, you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data. Finally, you can request the transfer of your personal data, if the processing is aimed at permission and the processing takes place using automated procedures.  We will process your request within four weeks after submission at the latest. Furthermore, you can submit a complaint to the Personal Data Authority if you see reason to do so.

  3. Sending personal data by email takes place using a secure connection.
  4. We take technical and organisational measures to prevent the loss of data or illegitimate processing of it (like attacks). We therefore guarantee an appropriate level of security and have our website tested regularly.
  5. All systems in which (sensitive) personal data is processed are equipped with antivirus software and the most recent security-related patches of all other important software as published by the suppliers of this software.

GBO does not provide this data to third parties (except to Google Inc). GBO is not able to guarantee that the administrators of the websites to which its own website links comply with the rules of the General Data Protection Regulation.
