The development of an integrated machine enclosure has optimized the production process. This project focused on the installation and optimization of Ranpak’s automated packaging solution, with ergonomics and ease of use prioritized to support maintenance and daily operational processes.
Cut'it!™ EVO is an automated packaging solution from Ranpak that boosts productivity and reduces costs. This integrated box-height reduction machine with automatic sealing speeds up the packaging process and reduces the number of logistical steps. Cut'it! EVO creates up to 15 optimally sized boxes per minute, achieving a very high throughput rate, with peak loads handled effortlessly. Transport volumes are reduced by an average of 25%. The result: improved operations, happier customers, and greater sustainability.
The CUT EVO features large sliding doors, viewing windows, and an easy-to-load lid storage for quick access and maintenance. An intuitive interface with a 12-inch HMI screen on a swivel arm provides easy operation on both sides.
Light Guide: The LED indicator immediately displays the machine status for quick and safe operation.
In close collaboration with Ranpak, we worked on defining the product requirements and optimized the design for maximum performance and durability. During the prototyping phase, we produced and tested multiple models, paving the way for the seamless integration of the mechanism into the machine housing. We then supported Ranpak during the transition to production with detailed 2D drawings and ongoing technical guidance.
