We are transforming the packaging and dispensing market with sustainable, innovative designs and mono-materials that reduce waste and contribute to a circular economy and eco-friendly future.
To meet market needs, close collaboration is required between our packaging designers, manufacturers, and suppliers. Continuous innovation and in-depth insight into consumer preferences are essential to serve the changing market. The balance between sustainability, product protection, and cost efficiency is complex but highly critical.
We are transforming the packaging and dispensing market by promoting material reduction and sustainability. By utilizing mono-materials and refillable solutions, we reduce waste and environmental impact. Innovative designs and technologies support more efficient use of materials, making packaging more sustainable and contributing to a circular economy, which is essential for an eco-friendly future.
Since July 3, 2021, the European Single-Use Plastics (SUP) directive has been in effect, aiming to reduce litter and make the planet healthier. Single-use products such as plastic straws, cups, and cutlery are banned under this directive. An alternative is disposable items made from other materials like cardboard or bamboo. But what if we opt for a reusable alternative that can still be 100% recycled after multiple uses? This way, we keep resources in the supply chain, prevent waste, and reduce our CO2 emissions.
With Circulware, Haval offers an alternative to disposable tableware. The Circulware series includes products made from PP (polypropylene). It lasts at least 125 (wash) cycles and is 100% recyclable. After the last use, the products can be collected and recycled to create new products. We are responsible for the development of this green and circular solution in the catering industry, which is set to become the new standard
Our project team faced the challenge of developing a jam and honey dispenser for the Italian company Menz and Gasser that significantly impacts the reduction of single-use packaging in the hotel and leisure industry. In addition to the sustainability goals, ensuring a stylish and high-quality presentation that contributes to a positive guest experience was another important focus point.
Heinz presented us with a sustainable challenge: to develop an environmentally friendly cap for Heinz ketchup bottles, with a strong focus on the use of mono-material and improved recyclability. Our challenge primarily lay in delivering a fully tested and scalable product that meets Heinz's high quality and sustainability standards, while significantly contributing to the reduction of environmental impact through improved recyclability and reduced material usage.
