The NoiseTrap Blox project involved designing a modular, compact ventilation solution with high-quality sound insulation for low frequencies. Key aspects included a user-friendly interlocking system, various mounting options, and the use of recyclable polypropylene that is colorfast and UV-resistant. The goal was to create an effective and sustainable sound-insulating solution for various indoor and outdoor environments.
NoiseTrap® Blox offers a modular ventilation solution with exceptional sound insulation for low frequencies. The compact and lightweight elements can be configured into an acoustic façade element, screen, or sound-insulating enclosure. The patented design is based on proven sound insulation technology, ensuring optimal performance.
Simplicity in design and use proved to be key during the design process. Much attention was given to the configuration of the interior where sound is trapped in the Noisetrap. Additionally, the ease of connectivity was an important technical element in this development.
