As of July 1, 2023, disposable coffee cups and single-use food packaging can no longer be distributed for free. Shortly afterward, a total ban followed. Wholesalers, caterers, restaurants, and event organizers are actively seeking alternatives to disposables. With Circulware, Haval is launching a completely reusable line of tableware and food packaging made of plastic: sustainable and recyclable.
We are responsible for design, engineering, and production supervision.
Since its introduction, well before the implementation of new regulations, the products have been embraced by various parties. Wholesalers, coffee companies, festivals, and even football stadiums have successfully adopted Circulware as the new catering system.
By going circular, we are saving thousands of tons of virgin raw materials and 85% CO2 compared to single-use packaging.
Circulware packaging consists of two identical parts with a handy (patented) click system. The modular design can thus serve as both container and lid. The design process took into account ideal cleaning possibilities and an attractive appearance.
The plastic alternative to disposable tableware consists of high-quality products made from (bio-based) PP. The products are reusable over 125 times. All items in the range are 100% recyclable. After the final cycle, the product is collected for recycling.
The reusable meal and snack containers come in different colors and sizes. Circulware consists of two identical parts with a handy click system. The product is fully produced in the Netherlands.
