Holst Centre and Imec are clients with whom we have built a long-term relationship. We regularly handle various development challenges for them regarding high-end wearables. The most recent project is the realization of an EEG headset aimed at the Korean market. With Mood 8, there is a state-of-the-art pilot series (of 1000 units) that meets the specified product requirements. This includes optimized adjustability, improved wearing comfort, and seamless interaction between the user and the integrated technology. It is a perfect example of small-series production under the responsibility of GBO Innovation makers.
Light expert and Propeaq founder Toine Schoutens aims to make light therapy accessible to everyone with a portable solution: a modern-looking pair of glasses with built-in technology and an accompanying app. Within six months, an idea has been translated into a product produced by us. In the second generation, additional cost benefits have been achieved, and an OEM version has been made possible. Propeaq has secured a strong position as an innovator in market segments where quality of life and (athletic) performance are highly valued with its first and second generation glasses.
Hulan develops user-friendly products for people with multiple disabilities and/or intellectual limitations. Their innovative Pillo cushion enables everyone to game, regardless of their restrictions. Hulan asked us to design a new look for the Pillo cushion with hygienic properties and the right selection of materials so that the product can be produced in large quantities.
